A nice balance between well-known acts, cult favorites, as well as up and coming bands, just like the Tony Hawk games have always succeeded at doing. I’ll try to include a bit of everything, with the aforementioned genres being represented with both classic and more modern songs.

Since its been over a decade since the seriess fourth entry, the sights might have been aimed a bit higher. Primary Artists Anti-Flag, Atmosphere, Black Pistol Fire & 29 more. Something to keep your adrenaline pumping while performing a 900 on a half-pipe. Overall, Tony Hawks Pro Skater 5 is a decent installment in a long-running series, but this reboot is perhaps a bit too authentic in that it lives up to its predecessors, but fails to exceed them. It should feature a mixture of hip hop, punk, ska, alternative rock, and metal, with these songs sharing some similar features, such as an upbeat mood and fast pace.

The Tony Hawk series of games have always been widely praised for their soundtracks and a new game in the franchise should keep that flame alive. However, I’m trying to think ahead a little bit, hoping for a proper Tony Hawk sequel to be released in the near future. With that being said, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is a remake of the first two games in the franchise, and it will feature the same soundtrack that was present in those games. We are getting a brand new Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game in the next few months and yes, I’m incredibly happy with the revival of one of the greatest gaming franchises from my childhood. I know what you’re going to say right from the get-go.
